She’s nicer when her boy’s around,
Colder when he’s gone.
Hard to handle on her own,
Mighty frightening when he’s gone.
Anger issues are a thing,
He helps her calm down.
Shoulders tensed, eyes are dark,
Not when he’s around.
He helps her think and helps her breathe,
So when he’s gone she is in need.
Of her boy who makes her smile,
Who gives her hugs and for a while,
Relieves her thoughts of the dark
Let's her live and ignites her spark.
He gives her comfort and keeps her calm,
She loves him so with all her heart.
