Sour sweet the goodbyes

All comes to an end

A new life awaiting

Just around the bend

We may remember

And look at the past

But nothing will be the same 

As it was last.

We move on

And we live our lives

We come back and we socialize.

Will we?

Will we come back and live together?

Will we hold on to our tether?

One another we became

A group of 8 full of flame

Full of attitude and full of fun

With others too a web we spun.

We lived our lives as one

And now all that is done

We live our lives

We work our jobs

We have no time

For sweet facades

We talk no more 

And never hang

We have no time 

To see the gang

All our lives

So fast and busy

We must keep up 

Or we’ll get dizzy

There’s things to do

There’s bills to pay

Maybe next time

Is what we all say

Its harder now

To socialize

I must make plans

To see the guys

It’s easy now

To be left behind

If too many offers

Are left declined

But it’s okay

It's all fine

I’m sure we’ll talk

Some other time

We’ll be okay

That day will come

The day where we

Will all succumb

To ourselves 

And to our friends

We will see each other

Once again.

But we must be patient

And we must wait

We cannot stop living

Just to wait

For that one date

We will be okay

Our friendship shall not stray

We will not need to see each other every day.
