My heart screams for you.
Your memories make my heart full
The small moments we took for granted
When we watched all the movies
And rested under the tree
When we slumbered together
You made my heart happy
I remember thinking
As you laid on me
How much I’d miss this feeling
So close as we breathe
Doing nothing unholy
Just being and living
We loved each other so
With simple loves
We stayed believing
That we needed
No deeper meaning
But to love so dearly
Holding each other close
Looking into our eyes
At each other we sympathized
Knowing that at some point
We’d stop being so close.
Our time would pass
Our distance would get long
So we cherished every song
That we sang together
Every time we held hands
We memorized our scents
As together we danced
I miss you so
So much more than you know
My heart does what I cannot
Where I was silent
And let you go
My heart screamed for you.
Not to go.
We’ll see each other
Once again
So here I’ll wait
And there you’ll wait
One last time
We’ll reunite
And then
Never separate
Ever again
No one will keep us apart
No judgment will matter
For I’ll have you
My heart pitter-patters.
From scream to whimper
My heart understands
That love takes patience
It doesn’t work with demands
Good things come
To those who wait
A little time
A little fate
We’ll be okay.
