TW: allusion to assault, self-harm, and self-deleting

Rage for those that have screamed inside

Rage for those that thought they’d died

Rage for those that have broken down and cried

Rage for all the times they tried to stay strong while something clawed their insides

Rage for those that have been terrified

Rage for those that have been traumatized

Rage for all the ways we’ve tried to cope

Rage for all the times we’ve almost lost hope

Rage for all the nightmares we’ve had at night

Rage for all the times we wanted to die

Rage for those who thought they had you

Rage for those that fucking stabbed you

Rage for those that walked away

Knowing that they’d been led astray

Rage for those who could not leave

Rage for those that came after me

Rage for those hurt the same way

Rage for those that could not live knowing that they’d been prey

To horrible people that could not feel

And take pleasure when someone’s light they steal

Rage for those who suffer today

Not knowing when the pain will go away.

Rage for those who are tired inside

That have dealt for years and are losing their fight

We must Rage.

For those who are not here today.

We must Rage.

For those that couldn’t find their way.

Out.

We must Rage.

For those still captive.

In their own minds and cannot get out.

We must Rage.

For ourselves and for each other.

We must help out one another.

We must Rage.

So we can fight and live another day.

Until the pain goes away.
